Third Grade - Fifth Grade
Third graders are in session from 8:00am - 3:00pm. Third graders are taught English language arts, math, science, social studies and religion by the homeroom teacher daily. Third graders are also offered Spanish and PE (twice a week) and library, technology, and music classes (once a week).
Fourth graders are in session from 8:00am - 3:00pm. Fourth graders are taught English language arts, math, social studies and religion by the homeroom teacher daily. Fourth graders begin with the departmentalized lab based science program with classes offered daily with the science teacher. Fourth graders are also offered Spanish and PE (twice a week) and library, technology, and music classes (once a week.)
Fifth graders are in session from 8:00am - 3:15pm. Fifth graders are taught English language arts, math, social studies and religion by the homeroom teacher daily. Fifth graders have a departmentalized lab based science class daily with the science teacher. Fifth graders are also offered Spanish and PE (twice a week) and library, technology, and music classes (once a week.)
Third through fifth grade students learn on the 2nd floor of the school building. Milestones for these classes include: learning cursive, navigating textbooks, working 1-1 on Chromebooks, learning to use the homework planner to track assignments daily, receiving letter grade report cards, taking field trips, and being paired with buddy students in various grades.
